SUMMARY:Holymoorside Loop
DESCRIPTION:A hilly ride for competent cyclists wishing to explore the west side of Chesterfield. The ride will be 20 miles with 1400ft of ascent and descent (or 13km with 425m of ascent and descent).  \n\n\n\nThe first half of the ride will be quiet lanes and shared paths\, covering most of the days climbing. The second half will be mainly on gravel tracks and lanes. We’ll have a break at Cutthorpe Creamery. \n\n\n\nYou can preview the route on Komoot. \n\n\n\n	\n		Grade 3 Ride\n					 ⓘ\n			 \n	\n		Any ride on mixed terrain with noticeable gradients / hills and over 10 miles. Suitable for the more experienced rider who can maintain an easy moderate pace throughout.

SUMMARY:Bolsover ride with Dronfield Clarion
DESCRIPTION:Following Dronfield Clarion’s successful ride during the Cycle Festival last year to the Albert Inn at Woodthorpe\, they have invited any members from Cycle Chesterfield on an evening ride on Wednesday 8th July from outside JE James\, Whittington Moor \n\n\n\nThe ride is to Wetherspoons\, the Pillar of Rock\, Bolsover. The route contains some off-road sections but should be manageable on a decent road bike. Distance is 20 miles from JE James back to JE James and does contain some climbs but we always wait and regroup at the top.
