SUMMARY:Women's Ride to Cafe No4 Clowne
DESCRIPTION:Starting from Queen’s Park\, we will ride along cycle routes to the canal. We will then use the canal path to Poolsbrook Country Park and through Poolsbrook village. We will then use the Clowne Greenway to Clowne where we will stop at the lovely Cafe No 4 (an old bike shop) for a refreshment break. We will then make our way back to Chesterfield using the same route.  \n\n\n\nA fairly flat route of about 26 miles. \n\n\n\n	\n		Grade 2 Ride\n					 ⓘ\n			 \n	\n		Mostly level ride over 10 miles\, some mixed surfaces\, maybe some small hills OR a ride with several noticeable gradients / hills but under 10 miles. Suitable for riders with some experience and the ability to cycle over 10 miles or on several noticeable gradients / hills under 10 miles.

SUMMARY:Glow Ride 2026
DESCRIPTION:Last year\, thousands of people lit up the streets in 67 towns and cities across the UK including Chesterfield as part of Cycling UK’s ‘My ride. Our right’ campaign. This year\, we’re doing it again and Cycle Chesterfield will be running a ride starting from the town hall steps at 6.30pm on Thursday 22nd October.  \n\n\n\nThe route will be through the town centre to the railway station\, along the station link to finish with a couple of laps of the Queen’s Park cricket pitch. \n\n\n\nThe ride is a family friendly social ride on quiet roads and cycle paths with just a few busier road crossings which will be marshalled by the ride leaders. Decorate your bike with lights (you’ll need a white light at the front and a red light at the back as a minimum) and come and join us! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nYou can register in advance\, but it’s fine to just turn up on the night too. \n\n\n\n	\n		Grade 1 Ride\n					 ⓘ\n			 \n	\n		Mostly level ride on good surfaces\, maybe some small hills\, under 10 miles. Suitable for all.
