This is the route extension from Somersall Park to Holymoorside. A very long running saga! In 2021 Derbyshire County Council finally abandoned plans for the route saying no agreement with the land owners could be finalised.
A group of Campaign members and residents from Holymoorside and Walton are meeting to attempt to get a reconsideration of that decision.

The first part leading from Somersall Park to Somersall Lane including a new bridge over the River Hipper has been completed.
