Highlights:

• Departing from Queens Park, we’ll follow the the station link path and the scenic canal to Hollingwood Hub before ascending the minor road to Ringwood Park.
• Arrive at Ringwood Park by 7pm to witness the BMX track evening session in full swing. Watch BMX club members showcase their skills on the track.
• For those feeling adventurous, don protective gear provided by the BMX Club and saddle up on a BMX bike for an unforgettable ride on the track. Whether you’re a seasoned rider or trying BMX for the first time, this is your chance to embrace the excitement and challenge of the sport.
• After the BMX session, we’ll retrace our path back to Chesterfield via the same route, arriving back by 9pm. Please ensure you bring lights for the return journey.

Important Information:

• The ride to Ringwood Park is suitable for cyclists of all abilities, with an easy-moderate pace.
• This is mostly a level ride on tarmac or compacted earth to Hollingwood Hub and then an uphill road, half a mile to the park.
• People wishing to ride on the BMX track should be confident cyclists. Protective gear will be provided by the BMX Club along with a BMX bike.
• The ride will depart from Queens Park promptly at 6pm, so please ensure you arrive on time to join the group.
• If you’re unable to make the start, you can meet us directly at the BMX Track at Ringwood Park at 7pm. Please still reserve your free space in advance and let us know you’ll be meeting us directly at the park.
• Please reserve your free ticket in advance to help us manage numbers.
• Participants under 16 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
