10.5 miles via canal to Whittington and then lanes to Unstone and Sheepbridge before stopping at Chesters chips for optional food and return via the A61 corridor route. Grade 1 / 2 ride on shared paths and tracks and mostly quiet lanes.
From Queen’s Park we’ll ride out to The Avenue at Wingerworth, mostly on well surfaced cycle paths. We’ll ride a loop around The Avenue before returning to Queen’s Park. 22 miles mostly off road on old railway tracks, 1000 ft of ascent and descent. Bring some food and drink. Aim to be back by about 2.30pm. Moderate paced ride. This is a grade 2/3 ride.
