    Twenty miles on trails and quiet roads as we head out from the Queen’s Park cafe to Whittington, Holmesfield and Barlow before heading back into town. Nothing too technical, but there are three reasonably tough climbs. Suitable for gravel and mountain bikes. Preview the route on Komoot.

    Meeting at the town hall steps we’ll take an 11km ride on the east/west route and canal, returning from Whittington via the Stonegravels Way bike path and some roads. Route preview

  • Trans-pennine Trail loop ride

    A circuit of the Trans-Pennine Trail loop, along the canal and then returning to town via West Wood. Good wide level trails for the most part, but a few short and steep uphills around Inkersall and Westwood. 13.5 miles and 500ft of ascent. Route preview on Komoot.
