A total of 29 riders left the Queen’s Park on May 31st on the second of our family rides. No doubt the numbers were boosted by the good weather compared to our last ride. Our route took us through the centre of Chesterfield, past the railway station and along the Trans Pennine Trail to Tapton Lock where we stopped for flapjack and scones.

After chatting, eating and soaking up the sun we set off up Lockoford Lane and Balmoak Lane, returning to Chesterfield and the Queen’s Park.
