Derbyshire County Council recently announced a grant of £1.6M from D2N2 for sustainable transport in the A61 corridor. Details below:
Includes works already carried out on the A61 near Hornsbridge, the Rother Washlands route (On-site), the Whittington Moor to Sheepbridge route, and the first phase roll-out of the Wayfinding scheme. Some of the work has happened already through an advancement of D2N2 LEP grant called pre-compliance funding, and the announcement this week confirms that the programme of measures can now be completed. We hope to be on-site for the Whittington Moor to Sheepbridge route before the end of the year. The wayfinding scheme will be developed further over the next few months.
