Emergency Active Travel Fund, it is now confirmed that Derbyshire County Council received 100% of the first tranche allocated to them. 

The percentage allocated was dependant on what action they took when the fund was announced which had to include closing roads and providing more pedestrian space.

Having been allocated £450,000 they can now apply for up to £1.7M in the second tranche and ministers have asked councils to be ‘even more ambitious’!
