At a public meeting of the Planning Committee of Chesterfield Borough Council held on July 1st the application for a relocated Tesco and new football stadium was passed subject to approval by the Secretary of State.

The Campaign objected to this application drawing attention to the lack of cycling infrastructure and the very car-centric nature of the layout.
